Project Estimator

```Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Project Estimator to join our team. As a Project Estimator, you will be responsible for accurately estimating the costs of construction projects and providing competitive bids. This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to effectively communicate with clients and team members.

Responsibilities:
- Analyze project plans and specifications to determine project requirements
- Prepare accurate cost estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to develop project budgets
- Review and negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors
- Utilize construction estimating software such as HeavyBid and Bluebeam to create detailed cost breakdowns
- Monitor project costs throughout the construction process and make adjustments as necessary
- Prepare bid proposals and present them to clients
- Participate in pre-bid meetings and site visits to gather information for accurate estimates
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, materials, and pricing

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field (preferred)
- Proven experience as a Project Estimator in the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of construction estimating techniques and software
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Excellent mathematical and analytical skills
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans
- Strong negotiation skills
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
