PROJECT MANAGEMENT COORDINATOR


SUMMARY

Reporting to the General Manager of Projects & Property Management Office, the Project Management Coordinator will coordinate, track and report on all construction and redevelopment projects by ensuring that projects are implemented successfully The Project Management Co-Ordinator will also be assisting with the delivery of excellence in customer service that is conducive to the exceptional standards of the Projects & Property Management Office. The chosen candidate will work within the policies and procedures established by the Six Nations of the Grand River Development Corporation.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Function as first point of contact for the Projects department including answering and screening calls and responding to all project and Modular Home inquiries.
  • Oversee project and Modular Home procurement management and maintains inventory controls in conjunction with Finance.
  • Assist with the development and monitoring of all projects and work with customer, contractors/ vendors/community members to ensure resources are utilized effectively to ensure completeness, schedule, and compliance. To established project requirements, schedule, scope, objectives, budgets, and outcomes.
  • Database lead management to maximize customer sales prospect pipeline, for the Modular Homes within the database, keeping succinct and accurate data
  • Provide exceptional customer service and maintain regular communication with clients throughout the purchasing process from initial contact to delivery of Modular Homes
  • Ensuring that clients’ needs are met as the projects evolves.
  • Responsible for effective and professional communication with internal staff, contractors, suppliers, and tenants.
  • Assist with the assurance that all standards and requirements are met through quality assurance, and ensure that Health and Safety policies are adhered to.
  • Work to ensure that all staff are adequately trained on all relevant equipment . Assists in the development and implementation of the standard operating procedures for the Department.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the General Manager.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

Minimum Requirements:

  • Should have a minimum of Grade 12 or equivalent with three (3) years of work-related experience and one (1) year experience in projects.
  • Solid organizational and communication skills, including multitasking and time-management and familiarity with risk management and quality assurance control.
  • Possess a valid G Driver’s License.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools or willing to learn immediately upon hire.
  • Willingness to learn, accept change, and adapt to innovative ideas, business concepts, and cultures.
  • Must pass police record check.
  • Flexible (extra hours may be required on occasion).

Error in judgement and conduct of duties may lead to loss of credibility, poor public relations, public confidence, and misinformation resulting in embarrassment and potential liability to the Six Nations of the Grand River Development Corporation.
