THE ROLE
Working closely with the Operations Manager, this is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to utilise their knowledge and experience in remediation construction to build and shape the Nowra NSW team. With ongoing support from National State Leads and Managers, this role would best suit an influential leader looking to make a pivotal impact on a growing National Contractor.
Your duties will include;
- Ensure compliance with HSECQ requirements
- Ensure effective cost control and efficient running of the project
- Coordinate direct labour
- Report on project progress and conducting weekly meetings
- Provide advice on any technical and engineering issues
- Liaise closely with the client ensuring project runs to program
ABOUT YOU
- Prior experience leading construction and remediation works
- Experience with tier 1 clientele
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role
- Tertiary qualifications in Construction, Engineering or a similar discipline
- The ability to positively influence, develop and maintain stakeholder relationships
- Ability to self-manage own workload whilst ensuring a project efficiency and a positive team environment
- Proven problem-solving capability with an approachable leadership style
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritise and manage deadlines
- A natural leader who is willing to develop people and achieve delivery targets
- Prior experience in a similar role, overseeing blast & paint, concrete, and structural integrity works (highly desirable)
