Job Summary:
As a Telecom Project Manager at [Your Company Name], you will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan. You will also define the project's objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning and implementation of project
- Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals, and deliverables
- Define project tasks and resource requirements
- Develop full-scale project plans and assemble project staff
- Manage project budget and project resource allocation
- Plan and schedule project timelines
- Track project deliverables using appropriate tools
- Provide direction and support to project team
- Quality assurance and risk management
- Constantly monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders
- Present reports defining project progress, problems, and solutions
- Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs
- Project evaluations and assessment of results
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or related field
- Proven experience in project management in the telecommunications sector
- Strong working knowledge of telecommunications systems and technology
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
- Project Management Professional (PMP) / PRINCE II certification is a plus
- Ability to lead project teams of various sizes and see them through to completion
- Strong problem solving and negotiation abilities
