As a Project Manager for Process Automation business, you will be responsible for leading the execution of medium-size projects and ensuring that all related activities are performed in accordance with ABB policy, relevant cyber security regulations and standards, contractual agreements, quality standards, health, safety & environment requirements, financial targets, and schedule commitments.Reporting to Operation Manager, overseeing the excitation projects which includes greenfield and brownfield projects within the excitation business line.This position is based in Surabaya, Indonesia.
Your responsibilities
- Leading the project team, establishing the project execution approach and oversees project hand-over, execution planning and monitoring and control activities for both internal and external resources in order to accomplish all project goals
- Ensuring compliance to relevant cyber security regulations, standards, and contractual requirements
- Supporting local sales and tendering through early involvement in tenders
- Monitoring and controlling project financials, overseeing project invoicing status, cost, expenses, and cash flow
- Ensuring that the project consistently applies contract and claims management, in accordance with ABB policies and contractual agreements
- Acting as the key contact for the customer and an escalation point for project issues
- Ensuring the project follows and complies with company health, safety, and environmental policies
- Demonstrating and proactively applying immediate recovery actions to mitigate schedule delays and cost overruns
Your background
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in project management role, working as Project Manager within the oil & gas, utilities, and other industrial market
- PM certification – PMP or equivalent PM certification from large MNC companies like ABB
- Knowledge of using Microsoft projects, SAP, and PR+ will be added advantage or having used similar enterprise resource and data management system for PM process implementation
- Project execution experiences with local AU regulations standards shall be an add-on
- A collaborative, solution-focused approach, and strong written and spoken communication skills
