Pub Supervisor - Summer Seasonal

We are looking to hire a Food & Beverage Supervisor who plays a vital role in establishing a positive experience for our guests while simultaneously behind the scenes guiding the Food & Beverage operations. The Food & Beverage Supervisor is the primary support to the Food & Beverage Manager (Mantle’s Restaurant & Lounge/Morrisey’s Public House/Banquets) and is positioned to understand F&B operations better. This knowledge will strengthen the successful candidates’ professional experience opening opportunities for advancement internally and externally throughout the Tourism/Hospitality industry. Compensation Information:

$22.50 per hour

Physical Class:

Medium: Work activities include handling load between 10 and 20kg, predominantly in an indoor setting.

This job position requires physical presence at the designated location.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Oversees the F&B operations and ensures established Standards of Service are executed professionally and consistently
• Supervises the food orders and delivery of service
• Takes note of opportunities to improve processes and remove barriers that weaken the guest experience
• Champions guest resolutions when needed
• Interacts with guests throughout their dining experience
• Drives customer loyalty through guest interactions and feedback from guests
• Provides ongoing suggested operational improvements to the F&B Manager
• Assists in the ongoing training of the Bartenders, Servers, and Jr Servers, finding coaching opportunities and further skill development
• Provides feedback to the F&B Manager on F&B team members’ performance and readiness for advancement opportunities

IDEAL CANDIDATE

• 1-2 Years of supervisory experience
• Serving it Right Certification
• Micros POS system experience
• Excellent food and wine knowledge
• Ability to work as a team as well as independently
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to motivate and support a team in a fast-paced environment, creating an innovative culture
• Passion for guest service and the proven ability to consistently anticipate guest needs
• Excellent organization and time management skills with the ability to multi-task
