Key Responsibilities:

Cleaning Duties:

• Perform routine cleaning tasks in Public Areas such as lobbies, corridors, restrooms, and recreational areas.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors.
• Dust and wipe down surfaces including furniture, fixtures, and decorative items.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, replenishing supplies as needed.
• Empty trash bins and dispose of waste properly.
• Maintain cleanliness of outdoor areas including entrances, walkways, and seating areas.

Maintaining Supplies:

• Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies as necessary.
• Report any shortage of supplies or equipment malfunction to the supervisor.
• Ensure that cleaning equipment is properly maintained and stored.

Attention to Detail:

• Pay attention to small details to ensure high standards of cleanliness are maintained.
• Identify and report any maintenance issues or damages in Public Areas.

Guest Interaction:

• Respond courteously to guest inquiries and requests.
• Assist guests with directions or any other assistance they may require within Public Areas.
• Maintain a friendly and approachable demeanor while interacting with guests.

Safety and Compliance:

• Adhere to safety protocols and procedures, including the proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Follow resort policies and regulations related to cleanliness and hygiene.
• Report any safety hazards or incidents to the supervisor immediately.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in cleaning or housekeeping preferred, especially in a hospitality environment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards.
• Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks, including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
• Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor when interacting with guests.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts as needed.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry cleaning equipment and supplies.
• Stamina to perform repetitive cleaning tasks for extended periods.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions for outdoor cleaning duties.

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: $18.25 per hour

Expected hours: 12 – 24 per week
