Guelph-Wellington Women in Crisis (G-W WIC) is a dynamic, community-based, not for profit, feminist organization providing services to women and their children who have experienced domestic and/or sexual violence or human trafficking in Guelph and Wellington County.

Responsibilities include:
- Coordinate and provide public education, trainings and workshops addressing sexual, domestic, and gender-based violence and human trafficking.
- Develop curriculum related to preventing and responding to sexual assault, sexual exploitation, domestic violence and human trafficking.
- Acts as an advocate and resource person for the agency on issues of gender-based violence and prevention education in Wellington County.
- Assist in the delivery of Anti-Human Trafficking educational workshops and presentations.
- Developing youth-focused educational resources in collaboration with Public Educator.
- In collaboration with the Public Educator, ensure a relevant on-line presence.
- Provide all services and duties from an integrated anti-racist, feminist, and anti-oppression framework.
- Correlating program statistical reports.
The successful candidate will have:
- Degree or diploma in a Social Services or related field.
- Minimum 2 years previous experience working with and advocating for sexually trafficked women.
- Crisis intervention, counselling education and experience.
- Experience in working with clients who are or have experienced sexual violence.
- Specialized knowledge of trauma, mental health and substance abuse issues.
- Administration/organizational skills with strong computer competency and attention to detail.
- Advanced familiarity with current community resources.
This position is part of the Collective Agreement of CUPE Local 4393.
