Responsibilities:- Develop and implement strategic PR campaigns and media relations strategies, tailored to the energy sector.
- Collaborate with internal teams to create compelling content that effectively communicates our vision and achievements in the energy industry.
- Manage media inquiries and interview requests, acting as a spokesperson for the company as needed.
- Monitor, analyze, and communicate PR results on a regular basis.
- Maintain a keen understanding of industry trends and make appropriate recommendations regarding communication strategy surrounding them.
- Organize and coordinate press conferences, interviews, and other PR events.
- Build and maintain relationships with media, influencers, and other stakeholders in the energy sector.
- Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Public Relations, communications, or a related role, specifically within the energy sector.
- Proven track record of designing and executing successful Public Relations campaigns.
- Strong relationships with both local and national media outlets.
- Excellent communication, writing, and presentation skills.
- Ability to think creatively and strategically, even under pressure.
- Proficiency in social media, content creation, and PR software.
- Available to start early March 2024.
- Legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
