Job description

Company Overview: Trans Canada Wood Products (TCWP), in Barrie Ontario, is one Ontario’s largest distributors of specialty wood products in Ontario. Trans Canada is majority owned by two entrepreneurs, Alan Lever and Stephen Luengo, who have extensive experience owning other Canadian manufacturing and distribution businesses. Trans Canada was acquired by them a year ago with a vision to significantly grow the platform. Just recently, TCWP acquired Muskoka Timber Mills (MTM), a manufacturer of specialty wood products in Bracebridge. MTM’s main products are exterior siding and high end pre-finished products used in interior applications (ceilings, walls, flooring, etc). TCWP and MTM are on an exciting growth and professionalization journey and this position is central to this growth as evidenced by the planned direct reporting relationship to the President.
