The Job You Will Perform:
QA/QC (Weld Quality Control) Inspector & In-Service Piping Inspector
This Inspector position reports to the Chief Inspector and will be required to work daily with the onsite welding shop manager, planners and other In-Service Inspectors (ISI), Operations, Maintenance Planners, and Maintenance Coordinators.  This position is a Monday to Friday dayshift, salaried position that provides a great work/life balance, allowing a steady routine and predictable work schedule with flexibility, however occasional call-ins and overtime maybe be required due to projects and maintenance outages. Rewards package includes competitive wages, pension, and a benefits plan.
Key Functions
As a member of the Pressure Equipment Integrity Management Team, this role supports the construction and inspection process by; monitoring and guiding the construction of new piping systems, existing piping replacements, organizing and executing QC inspections, reviewing and accepting third party inspection reports, ensuring pressure equipment (mainly piping) is installed, inspected and maintained to company standards and to ensure compliance with construction, federal and provincial codes and regulations.
Key Accountabilities
-Participate in Environmental, Health and Safety activities in accordance established standards
-Prepare/Review ITP’s for various piping projects and day to day replacement activities
-Organizing and Managing, Visual and NDE contractors executing Inspections
-Weld QC/QA functions to support new construction, repairs and alterations of piping  
-Prepare and maintain inspection records pertaining to; new construction, r
epairs of company assets,
in-service inspections

-Working knowledge of ABSA, ASME, API, CSA Codes and Standards
The Skills You Will Bring:
Currently certified as an Alberta In-Service Pressure Equipment Inspector (ISI-PP) with a minimum of 5 years’ combined experience in inspections, repairs, and/or alterations of Pressure Piping or Pressure Vessels or experience within a QC role and a Red Seal Welder Certification.  Candidates will be considered based on their level of experience and their combination of the below listed certifications and skills.  
-ABSA ISI-PP
-API 510/570
-CWB Certified Welding Inspector (level 2 preferred)
-Pressure Welder’s Certificate of Competency (consider an asset)
-Experience using Microsoft Office Products such as Excel, Word.
-Ability to communicate effectively and constructively, as well as good verbal and written English skills.
-Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
-Comprehension of complex work instructions and documentation as well as the ability to perform duties with little direction
