Job description and requirements:
- Relevant and applicable experience in quality along with good communication, impact and influence skills.
- Responsible for quality control checks including but not limited to physical, sensory, visual, metal detector monitoring, moisture and water activity. Checking of incoming materials for quality, damage, lot code, and best before date. Assist in Raw Material receipt.
- Perform equipment verifications and calibration.
- Understand and follow “Good Documentation Practices”.
- Perform Pre-Operation checks prior to production running a line to ensure equipment is clean, proper labeling and code dates, and materials from previous runs have been removed.
- Perform weight and dimensional checks on finished product to ensure it’s in specification.
- Document all test data results on proper forms.
- Follow all GMPs as well as HACCP procedures; understand, observe, and comply with the handling and proper usage of color-coded containers.
- Ability to multitask and willing to take on new challenges along the line.
- Fill in for any position that you are qualified to perform as instructed by Supervisor and practice continuous training for all positions within your department.
- Ability to lift to 35 pounds(occasionally).
- Perform any and all duties required to meet SQF, Company, and/or Governmental requirements/standards as set forth by the Company.
- Other duties may be assigned as necessary.
