Overview of the Position

As a Quality Assurance Analyst, you are responsible for identifying and engaging in best practices for testing systems or solutions for project and production activities including but not limited to the implementation of automated processes. The intention is to improve the quality of finished products being deployed and increase our speed to production with system releases and enhancements.
This is an onsite role, based out of our beautiful Home Office, which is located at 475 Panet Road, in Winnipeg.
Key Accountabilities include:

• Conducting, facilitating or supporting maintenance release testing for existing applications and projects, identifying issues that require attention
• Ensuring that technology deployments contain no errors by analyzing development data
• Implementing test plans; developing automation tests and maintenance tasks
• Working closely with the project team and Quality Assurance Lead to define, develop and execute testing expectations and requirements including existing applications
• Participating in analysis and discussions to solve unidentified issues
• Supporting other Quality Assurance resources and Princess Auto Team Members engaged in testing activities

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Relevant post-secondary education (e.g., software development; web development)
• 3-5 years’ Quality Assurance experience
• E-Commerce experience is an asset
• Experience in design and requirements documentation an asset
• Knowledge of Point of Sale (POS) and/or Web solutions
• Strong Written and Verbal skills
• Highly analytical and strong attention to detail
• Strong time management skills
• Proficient working with Microsoft including Word, Excel, Visio, JIRA
