We are currently seeking a full-time Quality Assurance Assistant to permanently join our team.

Job Roles and Responsibilities:
- Product inspection - incoming, in process and outgoing product
- Assist shop operators to solve any manufacturing problems (tolerancing, fitting, welding)
- Evaluate the materials routinely used during production and components during production by running specific tests of quality.
- Operate CMM arm whenever necessary to verify critical dimensions during production and at the final inspection.
- Assist with creating documentation required by customers – FPI, FAI, PPAP any custom requirements.
- Assist with/ perform internal ISO Audits
- Prepare required quality documents and reports.
- Help with any other quality tasks appointed by QA Manager
- Use SolidWorks CAD software frequently
- Accurately interpret blueprints and GD&T
- Work with various hand tools, power tools as needed (drill, grind and deburr parts)
- Use measuring tools such as calipers, weld fillet gauges, and protractors to ensure correct dimensions and angles
- Unload & load parts with a crane and/or manually
- General shop cleanup
- Inspect the quality of parts being produced
- Follow all company rules and policies
- Follow all safety rules and quality standards
Position Requirements:
- Degree or diploma or related experience
- Excellent attention to detail
- Grade 12 or equivalent
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Ability to read and understand blueprints
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in an effective way
- Strong team player
