Anchor Concrete Products Limited is expanding its Engineering Services Department and is recruiting a Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) Supervisor to assist Anchor in continually improving its products and processes.

About the position:

· Working with our production staff to ensure all products meet or exceed relevant standards.

· Continuous improvement - reducing non-conformances, manufacturing errors, and waste, daily.

· Overseeing our QA/QC Department, ensuring high quality deliverables through the success of our team members.

What you will be doing

Responsibilities:

· Supervising, directing, coaching, and developing the QA/QC Team

· Ensuring compliance with regulations and Anchor’s quality standards

· Ensuring all product testing and inspections are current

· Monitoring and evaluating all quality activities, processes, and procedures

· Identifying and analyzing production and process issues and implement reliable solutions

· Upkeeping of internal record audits

· Developing and maintaining company policies, processes, and procedures about quality

· Working alongside the Management Team to achieve key performance indicators

· Maintaining raw material quality records, ensuring sampling and testing protocols are completed on time and to specification

· Overseeing semi-annual audits and track customer feedback, to improve process integrity

· Training and educating other staff members on QA/QC procedures and protocols

· Keeping up to date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to Quality Assurance and bring them to the attention of the Management Team.

What you will bring to the position:

Education and Experience

A post-secondary education in civil engineering is considered an asset, whether it be a Technician or Technologist diploma, or a degree.

The ideal candidate has a combination of:

· experience in quality control in construction or manufacturing

· an engineering background

· experience overseeing staff.
