Pioneer Construction is looking for loyal hard-working employees to join our team. We are looking for a Quality Control Administrator in the Kenora area. This is a full-time permanent position with a competitive wage and benefits package.

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform asphalt and aggregate Quality Control testing within a laboratory, at a project site, or out in the field
• Accurate completion of documentation both written and digitally
• Help to continuously improve processes and procedures
• Perform other duties as required

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

Education

• Experience in civil/mining engineering OR diploma/degree from civil/mining engineering program is required
• Valid G license is required
• Knowledge of asphalt testing or related experience is an asset

Job Duties:

• Ability to use hand tools and equipment required to perform the work
• Ability to lift in accordance with OHSA requirements
• Must have own means of transportation
• Ability to work long hours Including weekends at times
• Willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Willing to travel to job sites with occasional overnight stays when required
• Capable of all physical requirements including lifting (up to 50lb), bending, climbing, etc.
• Ability to work out of town
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.
