Position: QUALITY CONTROL CO-ORDINATOR

Job Description

Igloo Building Supplies Group Ltd., (Long Sault, ON) is searching for a critical thinker who has a strong eye for detail, analytical skills paired with accomplished communication both written and verbal. The Quality Control Co-Ordinator’s duties include examining inventory and raw materials to ensure that quality and quantity standards are met. You should have strong computer skills and be able to work in a fast-paced team environment.

Duties & Responsibilities

· Responsible for performing quality assessment measures of all products.

· Review and assess inbound materials to ensure they meet quality expectations.

· Review picked items to ensure accuracy and quality of items.

· Review crating to ensure standards are met.

· Review outbound shipments for accuracy of documentation and loading protocols.

· Report all incoming materials that fail to meet quality expectations and report any issues to the operations manager, purchasing team and sales team in a timely fashion.

· Resolving quality-related issues and adhering to deadlines

· Prepare documentation of the inspection process.

· Design an effective quality error, issues, and solutions protocol.

· Recommend improvement measures to ensure Quality Control standards are being met.

Qualifications and Skills:

• High School Diploma
• Have an excellent eye for details.
• Excellent communication skills
• Possess strong organization skills.
• Must be capable to stand for longer durations and be able to lift heavy materials.
• Be able to handle work with strict deadlines.
• Enjoy working in a team-oriented environment.

Job Type: Seasonal
Contract length: 7 months

Salary: $18.44-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
