Salary```Job Summary:```
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Activity Coordinator to join our team. As an Activity Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning and implementing engaging activities for day program participants. Your role will play a vital part in enhancing the quality of life for our senior residents. This position requires BCGEU membership. This position is open to individuals of all genders. This position does not require the use of a personal vehicle.
```Primary Duties:```
- Develop and implement a variety of recreational programs and activities for participants
- Coordinate and schedule group activities, outings, and events
- Assign activities to staff and provide direction when necessary
```Skills:```
To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills:
- Experience in community inclusion day program setting.
- Knowledge of disability support in a community setting.
- Excellent with communication and teamwork.
```Education:```
A diploma in recreation therapy, or human / social services.
```Experience:```
One (1) year of relevant and related experience, preferably in a day program setting.
