Job Summary
Bring your expertise in organization and prioritization
The role of the Program Coordinator is to provide technical project management coordination functions for a variety of large-scale complex projects throughout the project management life cycle (i.e., initiation, planning, execution, control, and close-out). In addition, is directly accountable for assigned portions (e.g., sub projects) of larger projects as a project team member.
Job Requirements:
  • Diploma in project management or a related field and 1-year related experience; OR
  • Certificate or coursework in project management or a related field and 2 years related experience; OR
  • Secondary School graduation (Dogwood, GED) and 3 years related experience; OR
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Related experience includes the following:
  • Experience providing project management coordination and support.
  • Experience using project management software, systems, and methodology.
  • Experience tracking projects throughout the project life cycle and making recommendations to project leaders on revisions.

Preference may be given to applicants with:
  • Experience with MCFD applicants (ICM, CSAS, CDW, etc)
  • Experience working with Indigenous populations
  • Experience working with computer applications such as MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Adobe
  • Experience with business improvement processes
  • Experience with measurement reports
  • Experience with budget management
  • Experience in the Social Services sector.
  • At least 6 months experience in a Project Coordinator role.

Willingness Statement:
  • Must possess and maintain a valid Class 5 BC Driver's License or an equivalent class driver's license from another province or jurisdiction.

About this Position:
Flexible work options are available; this position may be able to work up to4 days at home per week subject to an approved telework agreement.
