Job description

Community Program Coordinator
Permanent part time, up to 24 HOURS PER WEEK


WHY TEAM PRED?
When you join the Recreation team as a Community Program Coordinator, you are working to create exceptional
experiences for homeowners, members, and guests. You will be responsible for developing, executing, and
evaluating programs for the Commons Racquet Club, Fitness Centre, and the general resort community.
WHAT TO EXPECT:
Reporting to the Director of Recreation, this permanent part-time position is expected to enhance the experience
of all user groups at Predator Ridge by creating and coordinating programs and events. The Community Program
Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the programs at the Commons Racquet Club and the Fitness Centre as
well as executing the Signature Event series for the resort. This position will be expected to work evenings and
weekends when needed.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Program Development

  • Develop a diverse range of recreational/lifestyle programs and activities tailored to the interests and
needs of the community and members.
  • Research and identify trends and best practices when developing initiatives.
  • Work with marketing team to create collateral for e-mail, newsletters, and social media.


Program Implementation

  • Plan and organize logistics for recreational programs, including scheduling, communicating with
departments and resource allocation.
  • Communicate with and train staff and volunteers who may be helping with events.
  • Oversee the execution of events to ensure quality, safety, and participant satisfaction.


Community Engagement

  • Foster positive relationships with recreation staff, users and members to create positive collaboration
experiences.
  • Actively seek feedback from participants and stakeholders to assess program effectiveness and identify
areas for improvement.
  • Build relationships with community partners to enhance opportunities for user groups.

Administrative Duties
  • Maintain accurate records of program attendance, budgets, and evaluations.
  • Manage program budgets, expenditures, and revenue generation activities in accordance with Predator

Ridge policies.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • Passion for promoting community health and wellness.
  • Previous experience programming activities.
  • WHMIS.
  • First Aid Certificate.
  • Ability to lift and carry 30 lbs., and sit, stand, reach, bend, twist and kneel.
  • Strong attention to detail and can follow direction.
  • Must be available to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays as well as respond to
last minute emergencies.
  • Is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with multiple interruptions.
  • Demonstrates honesty and integrity.


COMPENSATION:

  • $26.00 per hour
