QUALITY CONTROL
RESPONSIBILITIES & QUALIFICATIONS:
DUTIES INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
Establishes as a part of the Project QM Plan, and in compliance with the Company rules, the Site QM Plan (including audits programme).
Checks the Subcontractors Q.C. procedures to ensure they are consistent with Q.C. procedure.
Ensures that all necessary Quality construction records such as inspection and test documents are filed and maintained properly inside and subcontractor organization.
Coordinate quality assurance & QC activities for site projects.
Conducting quality audits, to identify, document, and provide solutions for Non Conformances ( NCR's), initiate Corrective Actions (CAR's) & Preventative actions (PAR's) to prevent recurring non conformance's.
Ensure Project Turnover documents are being assembled in a timely fashion and as per Newcart and / or the Client's turnover requirements.
Ensure all Inspection activities detailed in project Quality Plans and ITP's are being followed and documented by on-site Quality personnel.
Ensure all requirements specified in the Company Quality Manual, Project Quality Plan and Inspection and Test Plans are being met and are accepted and signed off the Client's Quality representative.
Liaison with the Client representative to ensure all site specific quality issues are being followed up on and resolved to everyone's satisfaction.
Promoting an efficient inspection environment to minimize construction down time during in-progress inspections.
Change Management documents (RFI, RFC, SI, DCN) for field inspection and close out by QC, when required.
Experience with ASTM & CSA Standards.
Proficient computer skills.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Has Obtained a Level 2 or Higher certification
Experience with ISO Cert is an asset.
Strong problem identification & problem resolution skills.
Highly motivated & self-directed, capable of multi taking & able to work with minimal supervision.
Knowledge of heat exchangers.
Knowledge of B31.3, power piping.
WAGE - NEGOTIABLE DEPENDANT ON SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
W.E.T Graduate.
3+ yrs. experience in field & in leadership role-Level 2
MUST BE LIVING IN CANADA AT TIME OF APPLICATION- PREFERRACE WILL BE GIVEN TO THOSE APPLICANT LOCAL TO LLOYDMINSTER, SK/AB AND SURROUNDING AREAS.
