Quantity Surveyor / Project Manager

• Based in Brisbane
• Work on large scale projects across QLD

THE ROLE

Hybrid role – delivering projects, QS & Commercial responsibilities on remediation and building & facade project works.

• Head contract management/control
• Sub contract packages/scope and management Process claims up/down chain Cost reporting internally Procurement schedule/ownership Project health checks/controls Risk and opportunity management Tendering; contract review, key risk parameters Programme/schedule review, input and ownership.
• Technical support to design coordination, monitor scope-gaps.
• Non-conformance and quality review/input

ABOUT YOU

• Tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or other relevant discipline.
• Extensive project management and delivery skills, including budgeting, coordinating work priorities, cost control, stakeholder management, subcontractor management, documentation, statutory approvals, and leading project teams.
• 5+ years demonstrated experience in a quantity surveying role, ideally within the remediation sector
• Prior experience working on façade and cladding project works
• Client relationship management experience.
• Sound ability in contract and project cost control management in the construction/engineering industry.
