Receiver Assistant

```Job Overview:``` We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Receiver to join our team. As a Receiver, you will be responsible for receiving and inspecting incoming shipments, verifying their contents, and ensuring they are properly stored in our warehouse. ```Duties:``` - Receive and unload incoming shipments from various carriers - Inspect packages for damages or discrepancies - Verify the accuracy of shipment contents against packing lists or purchase orders - Sort and label packages for proper storage or distribution - Enter shipment information into the warehouse management system (AS400) - Operate a forklift to move and stack pallets as needed - Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow - Assist with inventory management and cycle counts - Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work area ```Qualifications:``` - Previous experience in a warehouse distribution environment preferred - Basic math skills to accurately count and verify shipments - Familiarity with order picking processes and procedures - Ability to load and unload packages of varying sizes and weights - Knowledge of e-commerce platforms and MRP systems is a plus - Proficiency in operating a forklift safely and efficiently - Experience using AS400 or similar warehouse management systems If you are a motivated individual with strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills, we encourage you to apply for the position of Receiver. Salary: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
