Receptionist - Optometrist Assistant

What we're looking for:

• Experience in customer service
• Ability to communicate with people
• Comfortable taking and making telephone calls
• Good learning skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to multi-task

Main responsibilities:

• Answer phone calls, emails, take correct information and answer all questions efficiently, collect health information.
• Greet patients in a friendly and courteous manner, schedule or cancel optical examinations and appointments.
• Billing and/or payment of insurance by patients.
• Perform preliminary eye exam tests as needed or requested.
• Respond to a high volume of calls and maintain a high work pace.

Variable schedule to be discussed, approx. 15-20 hours / week, Monday to Thursday.
