This position is Monday to Thursday 9am to 3pm
Duties:
- Greet and welcome clients in a professional and friendly manner
- Handle incoming phone calls, forward messages, and handle outgoing communications with clients
- Provide clerical support such as filing, photocopying, and organizing documents, preparation of letters, scanning and uploading documents
- Assist with customer support inquiries and provide excellent customer service
- Coordinate tasks and diligently ensure multiple deadlines are met each month
- Manage calendars and schedule appointments
- Utilize QuickBooks, Sage and/or MS Excel for basic bookkeeping tasks, perform data entry, pay bills, create cheques, make online payments, perform bank reconciliations
- Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders as needed
- Perform light housekeepipng of office area
- Perform other administrative tasks as assigned
Skills:
- Good working knowledge of MS Word and Excel
- Strong clerical skills, good with numbers, and attention to quality and detail (very important)
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Familiarity with Sage or QuickBooks a definite asset
- Ability to coordinate tasks and meet deadlines without exception
- Strong organizational skills
- Must be absolutely trustworthy
This position requires a friendly, reliable individual who can handle multiple tasks efficiently and problem solve. The ideal candidate should have excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, be able to work independently, possess strong communication skills and have an aptitude for numbers. It would work well for someone who is looking for a long term position to work during school hours.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Salary: $20.00-$26.00 per hour
