Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the front desk
- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department or individual
- Check-in and check-out guests, ensuring accuracy of information and providing excellent customer service
- Assist with guest inquiries, providing information about the facility, services, and local area
- Handle guest complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
- Schedule appointments and manage calendars for staff members
- Perform administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and document management
- Utilize computerized systems to update guest information and process payments
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations
Skills:
- Proficiency in office software such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Familiarity with Google Suite (Gmail, Google Docs, Google Sheets) for communication and document management
- Strong administrative skills, including organization, time management, and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience working at a front desk or in a customer service role is preferred
Qualifications:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
Superb organizational skills with high attention to detail;
Experience in the operation of a PC and other general office equipment;
Demonstrated ability to meet and deal with a wide variety of people under varying conditions;
Quick learner, capable of applying multi-step procedures to daily operations;
Highly dependable and reliable, with positive attitude and adaptability;
Grade 12 or equivalent and previous experience preferred
