Recreation Aide

Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning and implementing recreational activities for residents in a nursing home or assisted living facility.
- Engage with residents and provide companionship and emotional support.
- Lead group activities such as games, crafts, exercise classes, and outings.
- Provide assistance to residents during activities, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Help set up and clean up activity areas.
- Document participation and observations of residents during activities.

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in caregiving or working with seniors is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with residents, their families, and staff members.
- Knowledge of dementia care techniques and understanding of the needs of individuals with memory impairments.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with other staff members.
- Patience, compassion, and empathy when working with seniors.

Salary: $17.70-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 per week
