This individual must posses and demonstrate sound mechanical knowledge in the operation of various types of equipment that is used by the Recreation and Parks Department
Have a genuine interest and pride in the Town of Tisdale parks, cemetery and recreation facilities including the pool
Be motivated and able to work independently or with a team
Be accessible and able to communicate and work with the general public and community organizations during their use of the RECplex and other Recreation and park facilities
Would be responsible for assisting with facility operations and possess a decent knowledge of general maintenance skills
Would perform general custodial duties
Would be able to set up and take down meeting room and ensure the cleanliness of rental spaces
Would be responsible for the security of the building
Ensure that all policies and rules are being followed by patrons
August to mid April work shifts that include evenings and weekends and mid April to August work is generally Monday to Friday
Wages and benefits as per Collective Agreement between the Town of Tisdale and CUPE Local 777-02
Must possess a valid drivers license and be insurable to operate town equipment.
