POSITION SUMMARY
The Recreation Worker provides recreation services to patient/residents to promote health and personal growth through leisure and recreation experiences, which contribute to the maintenance of physical, social, emotional and mental well-being. The Recreation Worker will provide leisure activities to enhance and promote life-long recreation skills and attitudes.
Education & Qualifications:
- Graduate of Recreation Facilitator of Older Adults Certificate or equivalent.
- Knowledge of Indigenous culture and language an asset.
- Experience in long term care and asset.
Job Types: Permanent, Part-time
Salary: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
