The Opportunity:

Reporting to the CEO, the Regional Community Relationship Specialist is the key leader in driving sales while also meeting, and exceeding, occupancy targets across the Metta Lifestyles Portfolio. This role will focus on developing and executing strategic plans to maximize profitability and occupancy, along with creating and implementing positive community outreach initiatives through various outlets, including hospitals, social workers, and other healthcare providers. The desired candidate is an enterprising, self motivated sales and marketing professional with a drive for results, who has a genuine interest in enriching the lives of seniors.

Responsibilities:

  • Effectively overseeing the sales processes across the Metta Lifestyles portfolio to effectively close strong leads, maximize the number of leads that become residents, and consistently meeting sales goals of maintaining full occupancy.
  • Defining KPIs and sales goals and creating strategic plans to achieve those goals and measure success.
  • Coordinating outreach events including trade shows, community seminars, sponsorship and other special events in order to maximize growth and sales potential.
  • Developing and implementing marketing initiatives to attract prospects and referral sources.
  • Assisting with the optimization of SEO and analysing trends and initiatives.
  • Converting online traffic into new leads and nurturing those leads to assist the sales team in closing sales.
  • Assisting in the development and implementation of the annual marketing budget.
  • Performing competitive analysis, including monitoring market competition and territory conditions.
  • Keeping abreast of relevant market trends and target customer information to maximize sales revenue.
  • Collaborating with leadership and the sales team to develop CRM solutions in support of new business initiatives to drive sales.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Sales, Marketing, Communication, or Public Relations.
  • At least 5+ years of relevant experience in retirement sales.
  • Experience with successful occupancy of a new development property an asset.
  • Proven experience in prospecting and closing sales providing an excellent customer experience.
  • Solid knowledge of digital and social media tools/technologies and experience utilizing these within a business environment.
  • Excellent writing, editing and excel skills.
  • Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in Dementia Care is an asset.
  • Must have valid driver’s license, access to a vehicle and be able to travel within the Toronto area.
