Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients based on the application of scientific nursing principles
- Assess patient's health status and develop a nursing care plan
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
- Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
- Educate patients and their families on disease processes, treatments, and self-care techniques
- Ensure the privacy and confidentiality of patient information
Qualifications:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
- Proven experience as a Registered Nurse in a clinical setting
- Excellent knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures
- Familiarity with pain management techniques and patient care protocols
- Experience in pediatrics, laboratory, case management, or other specialized areas is a plus
- Proficient in using electronic medical record systems such as Epic
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
