Research Analyst And Support

Position: Research Analyst and Support

Duties:

• Planning and Support of Company projects
• Keep track of market statistics for the Education and Real Estate sectors
• Maintain and update business plans, executive summaries, and PowerPoint
• Liaison with and provide regular updates to potential and existing investors
• Prepare and distribute company news releases
• Conduct market research and analysis on projects
• Participate in corporate finance activities under the direction of the Company’s executive team
• Administrative duties and providing support services to senior management
• Liaison with company subsidiaries in Canada and abroad
• Liaison with company lawyers, auditors, realtors, architects, investors, and investment bankers
• Assist the project management and corporate finance teams
• Prepare shareholder updates
• Other research and administrative duties to be assigned from time to time

Skills:

• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
• Self-starter, attention to detail, and work closely with other team members

Qualifications:

• Undergraduate with business or commerce background
• Software applications: Word, Excel, PPT

Compensation:

• Starting wage: $55,000 per annum
• Review: after six months
• B.C Medical Plan: Corporate Plan with Blue Cross and dental
• Work Hours: Mon – Fri 9.00 am to 5.30 pm with 1 hour lunch
• Work days: four days at the office and one day work-from-home
• Annual Holiday: 2 weeks vacation + 9 - 10 days between Dec 24th to Jan 2nd totalling 23 days per year
