REQUIREMENTS:
· A diploma or degree in Early Childhood Education and a certificate in Resource Teaching/Consulting or equivalent recognized by the Child Care Early Years Act (CCEYA).
· A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in an inclusive child care setting is required.
· Familiarity with the Child Care and Early Years Act and fluency with the Ministry of Education documents Emergent Curriculum and How Does Learning Happen Pedagogy.
· Must be registered and in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators.
· This requires the successful candidate to have a valid Ontario Driver’s License. The successful candidate would have to provide proof that s/he has a valid driver’s license upon being hired.
DUTIES:
· Coach, consult and coordinate service.
· Work independently and as part of a team and be flexible and responsive to shifting service demands.
· Work using family-centered and strength-based practices.
· Implement and interpret screens and assessments.
HOURS OF WORK:
Committed to regular 80 hour bi-weekly schedule that meets the needs of the service we provide.
