Honey Bee Deli is renovating its current facility to accommodate not only a larger Ice Cream Parlour and Juice Bar with eat in capacity, we are also creating a kitchen (Honey Bee Deli). With the expansion, we will need additional support, therefore we will be hiring a qualified Assistant Manager.
The Restaurant Assistant Manager is passionate about Food and Customer Service. The Assistant Manager understands that customer service always takes priority and efficient restaurant operations, makes it possible. They are an experienced leader with aspirations of moving into the Management field.
Requirements and Qualifications: We are looking for a positive and self-motivated team player to assist in managing overall operations.
· Assist in managing, and oversee the entire restaurant operation
· Deliver superior guest services
· Ensuring guest satisfaction
· Assist in Planning and developing guest loyalty programs
· Assist with any update to the existing menus
· Control costs and minimize waste
· Nurture a positive working environment
· Monitor operations and initiate corrective actions
· Implement innovative strategies to improve productivity and sales
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES
The Assistant Manager must know:
· How to control costs and minimize waste
· Must have great people & leadership skills
The Assistant Manager should be able to:
- Nurture a positive working environment
· Be able to schedule and replace staff with ease.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 3 years of experience in a supervisory or similar role
- 5 years of experience Customer Service
· Health Food Safety Certificate is an asset
REQUIRED COMPETENCIES
You need to be able to work in a fast-paced environment and know how to communicate with people properly so there are no gaps in workflow.
