Perkins Restaurant and Bakery is searching for a dedicated and friendly host to join our team of dynamic, and hardworking individuals!
NOTE: Our ideal candidate must have their Food Handlers Certification. Candidates who do not hold these licenses must be willing to obtain them before beginning work. Candidates must be proficient in the English language, and be available to work weekend mornings.
Our ideal candidate is a team-player who is ready and able to provide the best possible customer experience from the very beginning by greeting guests with a smile. They aim to make every interaction a positive one. They must be willing to collaborate with both their front of house, and kitchen team in order to always reach shift goals and make everyday a success. They must be willing to keep busy, multitask and complete side work in accordance with business needs.
A general overview of responsibilities include:
- Greeting and seating customers
- Answering the phone
- Running food and beverages as needed
- Monitoring and maintaining cleanliness of the dining area and workstations
- Stocking necessary product
- Cleaning, and resetting tables promptly
- Answering the phone and fulfilling reservations and take-out orders
- Process payments and operate the POS system
- Provide exemplary customer service and address any customer concerns.
- Maintaining the bakery displays and ensuring all product is fresh and presentable

Job Type: Part-time
Salary: $16.55-$21.65 per hour
