Restorative Care Aide

and comfortable home encompasses five resident home areas (one secure) and has four wonderful courtyards

The Opportunity
Reporting to the Activities Manager, the Restorative Care Aide implements restorative programs to assist and
support residents to restore, maintain or improve activities of daily living and psychosocial/mental functioning.
What You Will Do:
• Implement and assist in evaluating both
individual and group restorative programs
based on assessed needs of individual
residents as assigned by the Manager and
Registered Staff
- Transport residents to and from programs
- Assist with feeding residents during meal times
- Monitor the behavior and condition of residents
during restorative programs, reporting any
significant changes to the Manager
- Participate in care conferences as required
What You Will Need:
- Graduate of a two (2) year college program in
- Completion of Restorative Care Certificate (3
- Previous experience working with seniors in
restorative programs, preferably in LTC,
would be an asset plus on-the-job orientation
and training of up to 1 month
- Completed police record check, including
