Job description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our amazing team as a Retail Administrative Assistant in Edmonton, AB. In this role, you will provide crucial administrative support to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our five retail locations. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational and time management skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

The Administrative Assistant is a part-time on-site/remote position. This position is best suited for a self driven and independent worker with an intrapreneurial spirit who thrives in a support capacity and values working within a small team.

Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following categories:

1. Administrative Support

2. Inventory Management Support

3. Customer Service

4. Onboarding and Training Support

Administrative Support:

Participate in the ongoing development, documentation, and maintenance of LEC’s processes and procedures.

Maintain and organize LEC’s electronic library by establishing an effective filing system for documentation accessible via a Software Management System.

Prepare and maintain monthly reports.

Manage store requests for supplies by procuring or placing and expediting orders for supplies and verifying receipt of supplies.

Oversee facilities service requests and maintenance activities with various vendors.

Assist in coordinating inter-store inventory transfers by processing courier shipment requests.

Assist with various tasks requested by ownership group.

Inventory Management Support:

Collaborate with store managers to monitor and maintain accurate inventory records, track stock levels, and manage orders following vendor guidelines.

Oversee defective product management, warranty claims, and ensure completion.

Input data accurately into relevant systems and databases for analysis.

Prepare reports to analyze inventory data, identify trends, and develop monthly order schedules.

Manage product special requests and supervise inventory counts at the store level.

Handle POS product management tasks, including product additions, maintenance, and adhering to naming standards.

Customer Service Support:

Manage customer inquiries and concerns across multiple communication channels (social media, Google Business), responding promptly and professionally.

Serve as a central point of contact for internal and external communication, including responding to emails, phone calls, and inquiries.

Collaborate with retail staff to ensure a positive customer experience and assist in resolving customer issues and escalations by identifying trends across all locations.

Handle website product management to enhance customer experience and support overall operations.

Onboarding and Training Support:

Support the development, documentation, and implementation of LEC training initiatives, including assisting in onboarding new employees, training on procedures and systems, and conducting health and safety orientations.

  • High School degree
  • Must have reliable transportation
