POSITION: RETAIL LEAD

You will be a vital support for our management team and a key player in ensuring the success of our day-to-day operations.

The Retail Lead is a management development position with an emphasis on personal growth and development in the areas of people management, warehouse management, store operations, and all aspects of inventory management.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Learning and Development:

• Foster a continuous learning mindset to understand all day-to-day operational tasks and initiatives.
• Coach and ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards.

Store Operations:

• Gain proficiency in the opening and closing procedures of the store.
• Set a prime example by actively engaging with customers and promoting exceptional customer service.
• Effectively manage shifts to maintain store and customer service standards.
• Develop a strong understanding of the receiving process and receiving standards.

Team Leadership:

• Learn how to lead and guide the team effectively, fostering an environment that supports management
• Actively participate in employee training, mentoring, and skill enhancement

Property and Equipment Care:

• Acquire in-depth knowledge of maintaining a safe and secure environment by overseeing the proper care and maintenance of company property and equipment within our stores

General Requirements:

• Ability to commute for occasional travel
• Strong customer service orientation and a genuine passion for serving the community
• Must have weekend availability
• Must be capable of repeatedly lifting 25kg without restriction

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 1 – 35 per week
