POSITION: RETAIL LEAD

The Retail Lead is a management development position with an emphasis on personal growth and development in the areas of people management, warehouse management, store operations, and all aspects of inventory management.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Learning and Development:
- Foster a continuous learning mindset to understand all day-to-day operational tasks and initiatives.
- Coach and ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards.
Store Operations:
- Gain proficiency in the opening and closing procedures of the store.
- Set a prime example by actively engaging with customers and promoting exceptional customer service.
- Effectively manage shifts to maintain store and customer service standards.
- Develop a strong understanding of the receiving process and receiving standards.
Team Leadership:
- Learn how to lead and guide the team effectively, fostering an environment that supports management
- Actively participate in employee training, mentoring, and skill enhancement
Property and Equipment Care:
- Acquire in-depth knowledge of maintaining a safe and secure environment by overseeing the proper care and maintenance of company property and equipment within our stores
General Requirements:
- Ability to commute for occasional travel
- Strong customer service orientation and a genuine passion for serving the community
- Must have weekend availability
- Must be capable of repeatedly lifting 25kg without restriction
