Job Description – Sales Assistant -Part Time

Here at Bella Terra Stone we specialize in natural and engineered stone countertops for kitchens, bathrooms and other custom projects. The Sales Assistant will be responsible for supporting the administrative and sales team.

You will work closely with the Office Manager and support the day to day functions of the customer experience.

Ensuring customer satisfaction at each interaction.

Responsibilities

● Welcome and engage in conversation with customers, help them as needed

● Receive walk in clients, over the phone and through email

● Follow up with customers on order status, timelines, etc.

● Maintain customer satisfaction through superior service

● Maintain a clean space and ensure that merchandise is presented in an appealing manner

● Stay up to date with product offerings and applications

● Determine customers needs and wants and suggest and display these items

● Adhere to company guidelines and procedures

Qualifications for Sales Assistant

● Experience in sales is preferred
● Great communication and interpersonal skills including in-person, over the phone and electronic communications
● Must be attentive to customers needs and determined to provide customer satisfaction
● Ability to organize, prioritize, multitask, be flexible and meet deadlines
● Knowledge of sales standards and customer service routines

● Must have proficient math skills to handle cash and credit card payments

● Basic computer skills including spreadsheets, data programs and some cloud based software

● Work well with others and be a team player and the ability to work independently when needed

● Ability to manage schedules and inventory

● Ability to problem solve and provide solutions or recommendations to customers

● Ability to work under pressure in a high paced environment

Role will be part time, Monday - Friday (approx 3 days per week), 9am-5pm

Anticipated start date: April 8, 2024

Wage: From $18 per hour

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: From $18.00 per hour
