JOB SUMMARY
Join the dynamic team at Northern Fitness in our journey to transform the fitness retail landscape! As a Retail Sales Specialist at our soon-to-be-opened South Etobicoke Flagship store, you will be a crucial part of our company's public face. Your role is not just about selling products; it's about embodying our passion for fitness and delivering an unmatched customer experience.

You will be actively promoting our diverse range of fitness products and services, requiring you to be an excellent communicator with a deep understanding of general fitness concepts and equipment.

These skills are essential for effectively interacting with customers, both verbally and through written communications. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide world-class service to our customers and manage client relationships through all stages of the sales cycle
- Assist customers with selection of gym equipment by maintaining in-depth knowledge of all products we offer in-store and online
- Processing sales transactions and sales contracts, as well as returns and exchanges
- Working with other employees to develop effective strategies to meet sales targets
- Recording leads in a CRM and conducting post-sale follow ups with the customers
- Maintain a clean showroom to provide customers with an optimal shopping experience.
- Ensure excellent communication and cooperation with all departments
- Work with the Marketing Team on aligning with promotions and sales
- Work with Social and Community Lead on in-store activations and events
- Respond to customer inquiries and issues via email or phone when not assisting an in-store customer.
- Consistently embody and promote the company's core values in all aspects of your work.
Must Haves:
- A genuine interest and passion for fitness training.
- Possess critical and analytical thinking skills to logically address customer queries.
- Ability to adapt and thrive in varied situations to support our company's objectives.
- Highly organized with a keen attention to detail.
- Exceptional communication abilities, both in writing and speaking.
- An energetic personality with a positive and personable demeanor.
- General understanding of the fitness industry and equipment.
- Proficient in using cloud-based applications including Google Workspace, and familiar with order management systems like Shopify and CRMs such as Copper.
- Ability to work during regular weekend hours.
Assets:
- Knowledge of POS systems, especially Shopify.
- Prior experience or familiarity with the fitness industry
- Bilingual capabilities
- Previous experience in a fitness retail setting.
Job Type: Part-time
Salary: $17.32-$23.15 per hour
Expected hours: 14 – 20 per week
