Honey produced by beekeepers in Western Canada is processed and packaged at plants in Winnipeg, MB and Spruce Grove, AB. Bee Maid not only produces premium honey but also operates retail outlets in Spruce Grove, Winnipeg, and Tisdale.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Manitoba Cooperative Honey Producers are looking to hire a full-time Retail/Warehouse Associateto join our team. This full-time permanent position will report to the Bee Supplies Manager and be responsible for the fulfilment of customer orders, and inquiries within the Bee Supplies Department.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Customer Order Management:

• Assemble and pack supplies for phone, e-store, and over-the-counter customers.
• Answer customer phone calls and respond to inquiries.

Store:

• Maintain product displays, presentation, positioning, and promotion material.
• Perform various cleaning tasks.

Inventory Management:

• Conduct random stock spot checks for quantity and quality.
• Replenish existing stock.
• Manage back orders.
• Perform a variety of warehouse functions, including loading and unloading, and palletizing stock.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Grade 12 High School Diploma (or equivalent).
• Attention to detail and dedicated to quality.
• Occupational health and safety awareness.
• Planning, organization, and time management.
• Reliable, flexible, accountable.

SPECIFIC SKILLS:

• Customer service experience.
• Ability to stand and/or walk 6-8 hours per day.
• Repetitive lifting and able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Basic computer skills.
• Forklift experience is considered an asset.

Salary: $17.50-$21.00 per hour
