Rock Crusher Operator

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are currently seeking Rock Crusher Operators for upcoming projects within Niiwin G.P. The candidates will be responsible for setting up equipment for daily use. They must also provide strong leadership, confidence, and knowledge to fully engage and maintain the understanding of operating procedures for their machines and report all safety hazards within the work environment. This candidate must be professional, hands-on personable leader committed to the overall objective and self-development within the company.

SUMMARY OF POSITION

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Must have experience feeding a Crusher and working in a Quarry.
• Daily pre-operation inspection and reporting of heavy equipment
• Communicate with Shift Boss to ensure production level are being met and to determine next day quantities.
• Keep track of production numbers and statistics.
• Promote safety awareness; follow company policies & procedures, health, safety, and environmental.
• Maintaining the understanding of operating procedures for their equipment
• Responsible for maintaining a high standard of housekeeping in all areas within the crushing plant.
• Must have effective communications skills.
• Outstanding attention to detail with the ability to understand mechanics and technical tasks.
• Responsible for coordinating required daily work and establishing priorities with maintenance personnel to ensure minimal interruptions to the operation.

REQUIREMENTS:

• A Minimum Secondary School Graduation Diploma (Grade 12)
• Must have Surface Miner Training Program #77021
• 3 year Crushing experience
• Excellent organizational, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Valid “G” driver license
• Mechanical aptitude with operational and maintenance knowledge of aggregate crushers, screening plants, conveyors, stackers and bins, generators, pumps, classifiers, loaders and Excavators.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
