Route Service Delivery Representative

Position Summary
The Route Service Delivery Driver is integral in providing customer satisfaction through providing exceptional customer service through on time and efficient delivery of car wash chemicals within Ontario. Working independently while interacting with customers, the Route Service Delivery Representative is the face of our business.
Key Accountabilities
Customer Service
* Ensure accurate delivery and storage of car wash chemicals within a specified route each day
* Organize and properly stalk the customers back room
* Interact professionally with all business owners
* Communicate any customer concerns with the Order Desk & Logistics Administrator in a timely fashion
Driving & Delivery
* Review the route provided by the Order Desk & Logistics Coordinator and ensure truck is loaded to meet the efficiency of the route plan
* Ensure all shipments are properly labelled and contents are verified against shipping documentation
* Ensure all chemicals are loaded into delivery vehicle according to TDG, MTO & safety standards
* At customer site evaluate the site and determine the safest place to park the vehicle to move the product to the backroom
Safety Excellence
* Housekeeping
o Keep a clean, neat and safe work areas, within the warehouse, vehicle and at the customer-site
o Upon return to the warehouse empty truck of all plastics
o Ensure the truck is cleaned on both inside and outside
* Maintain a G & D driver’s license in good standing and apply safe driving practices at all times
* Apply all knowledge related to WHMIS, TDG, Ministry of Transportation and all safety protocols to ensure safety both on and off-site
* Follow Health & Safety guidelines and other Standard Operating Procedures
* Work in a safe manner and strive for zero work related incidents
* Understand and follow safety practices/procedures and WHMIS
* Operate Pump Truck and Tow Motor in accordance with training certification guidelines
Education and Experience Required
* High school graduation diploma
* 2 years of experience working in a similar role
Technical Skills and Competencies
* Preferred candidates will have 2+ years of demonstrated experience working in a route delivery position
* Strong understanding of Health & Safety best practices related to Warehouse and Manufacturing environments, with knowledge of the Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals (GHS)
* Intermediate reading and writing skills coupled with strong attention to detail
* Ability to communicate effectively and positively with customers
Physical Demands and Working Conditions
This position requires the ability to carry containers weighing 55 pounds as well as maneuver heavy drums that weight up to 400 pounds. Frequent sitting is required for driving. Customer sites may be noisy, and temperature is greatly impacted by the weather, requiring working within extreme temperatures. There is regular exposure to scents from chemicals.
Physical demands of the position require sitting, standing, and moving product using equipment as well as manually moving product using push/pulling force. Concentration is needed in operating a vehicle and other equipment such as Pump Truck, Walkie, Tow Motor and other equipment.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $26.00-$28.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
