SalaryResponsibilities:
· Client System Navigation
o Intake new clients and assess eligibility for services
o Refer clients to appropriate services within Routes and in community through a warm transfer process
o Assist clients with basic needs and access to information
o Oversee public computers in Georgina, implement coverage schedule with volunteers and ambassadors
· Transportation Programs support
o Assist with Routes’ transportation program
· Housing programs support
o Provide support and supervision of Housing Ambassadors
o Support implementation of housing workshops and summits
· Special projects oversight
o Coordinate Community Income tax clinics
o Plan and implement community events along with partners
o Support outreach and community engagement
Qualifications:
o Degree or diploma in social services, or commensurate experience, an asset
o Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
Experience with community tax clinics or tax filings, an asset
o Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
o Experience managing projects and working with volunteers
o Attention to detail
o Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and work independently
o Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $52,000.00 per year
