Are you someone who enjoys building relationships with advisors? We are looking for Regional Vice-President, Growth who will be responsible for recruiting new advisors and providing support to both branches and advisors in their recruiting efforts. In this role, you will be responsible for advisors in Manitoba and Ontario and frequent travel will be required.

You will be responsible for:

  • Recruiting, developing and maintaining the number and caliber of the advisors in order to attain the yearly growth objectives put in place by management;

  • Proactively managing your territory (Manitoba and Ontario);

  • Ensuring new advisors have adequate knowledge and sound background to effectively provide suitable, affordable and viable recommendations to clients without putting themselves, or dealer at risk or disrepute;

  • Ensuring regulatory and compliance requirements are adhered to by supporting the implementation of compliance policies and procedures, reviews, and training programs;

  • Planning and conducting regular Branch visits to assess their growth plans in terms of new recruits;

  • Promoting products, concepts and tools to the identified groups/individual networks consistent with the company’s goals and initiatives;

  • Proposing recommendations on how Investia can provide further support;

  • Attending quarterly sales meetings.;

What Are we Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and or 10 + years of relevant experience

  • Good knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements

  • Good knowledge of financial products and services

  • Good knowledge of the insurance sector

  • Strategic thinking and analytical experience advantageous

  • Strong influential and leadership skills

  • Availability to travel
