e.l.f. Cosmetics is looking for a sales driven and collaborative Sales & Education Specialist to join our dynamic, fast paced team with a focus on one of e.l.f. Beauty’s portfolio of brands – Key Soulcare. We are looking for someone to work 6-18 hours a week in the Calgary market and surrounding areas.
Objective:
To generate retail sales in a designated territory within Sephora Canada, through store events and education of cast members, and management on the Keys Soulcare product line. Reporting to the Western Canada Market Manager, responsibilities include the following:
Retail Sales
- Drive in-store sales exceeding all targets; executing promotional and event calendars at door level.
- Ensure all in-store merchandising and brand presentation are correct and adhere to all KSC and Sephora standards and stores have correct inventory.
- Execute best in class brand trainings and team-selling with Sephora Beauty Advisors.
- Take ownership of your business/goals and consult with the Western Canada Market Manager to adjust strategy according to door and market performance.
- Strive to improve store rank throughout territory in all stores.
- Execute focus days and HUB events when scheduled by the Market Manager; including set-up and take down, leading the sales team and selling by example.
Communication
- Communicate with Market Manager at least once a week providing sales recaps, wins, challenges and competitive activity.
- Alert MM and retailer of all out of stocks as they occur.
- Inform the store team of all seasonal activity (direct mail, catalog) well in advance to ensure proper set-up and preparation.
- Timely return of all phone calls, e-mails and communication from both retail partners and the corporate office within 24 hours of receipt
Qualifications
The Selling Specialist is a client-facing position, expected to be in store 2-3 days a week, up to six hours per day. Working days are mostly evenings and weekends unless otherwise discussed with MM.
Two or more years of education and sales experience within the retail cosmetics field with a solid understanding of influencing sales, product knowledge, events, and operations.
3. Strong understanding of Sephora company policies, procedures, and culture.
4. Effective planning, organizational and time management skills.
5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
6. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Demonstrated ability to drive sales through fostering relationships and providing exceptional brand partnership
8. Ability to work independently to prioritize and achieve results.
9. Must own a car and have a valid driver’s license.
Job Type: Freelance
Pay: $23.00-$25.00 per hour
