About the SAP Internship Experience Program

What you’ll do

 

Position Title: SAP iXp Intern - User Experience Design

 

Location: Vancouver, BC

 

Expected Start Date: April 2024

 

Contract Duration: 8 months

 

Work Hours: 40 hours per week

 

  • Support and lead day-to-day UX activities 
  • Engage with end-users, business, and scrum teams to better understand the needs and workflows necessary for our products
  • Work with scrum teams to optimize workflows, eliminate roadblocks, and nurture continuous improvement around the UX of our products 
  • Create process flows, mockups, and prototypes to effectively communicate and conceptualize detailed interactions for a variety of environments and users
  • Drive and champion the definition of personas for the scrum teams 
  • Collaborate with colleagues across all levels, teams, location and have the willingness to take ownership of UX topics
  • Craft creative solutions and not be afraid to think outside the box
  • Share your UX knowledge via sessions, workshops, and consultations to foster a culture of design
  • Assist the team with general marketing, branding and communication

  • Experience in working with User-Centered Design principles 
  • Knowledge of UX software for wireframe and prototype creation (e.g., Figma, Sketch, etc.) 
  • Excellent organizational skills with a proactive mindset, ability to multi-task and prioritize work
  • Excellent communication skills when working with diverse team members and managing stakeholder relations
  • Rapidly adapt to changing circumstances and enjoy problem-solving 
  • Strong foundational knowledge and understanding of Agile Scrum
  • Flexibility in working with different time-zones
  • Proven interest in technology through education, hobbies, self-projects, or other extracurriculars
  • Prior experience or formal training in Project Management/Agile Scrum is a major asset
  • Marketing and branding knowledge

Educational Requirements
Requires candidates to be currently still enrolled at a University or a recent graduate (up to 6 months) after finishing their degree.

SAP provides the hourly base salary rate range applicable for the posted role. The targeted range for this position is 24-40 CAD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidates will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process.
