SAP PP (Production Planning) Consultant
ALTEN Canada is hiring a SAP PP (Production Planning) consultant with experience in a manufacturing environment.

SAP PP (Production Planning) key responsibilities:
· Perform All IM functional and technical related activities for Production Planning Products & Services US, Canada, Mexico divisions.
· Follow strategic alignment of IM strategy and roadmap for Production Planning Products & Services
· Design and implement Production Planning Products & Services in the North America Region (US / Canada / Mexico) in line with Company’s overall standards as defined in Europe or in the frame of the Region.
· Promote and deploy state of the art digital solutions in the Production Planning Products & Services in line with Company’s Operating Model and Standards.
· Responsible for Continuous Release Management for the Production Planning Products & Services
· Propose with the IM Product Managers and Business Process Owners for the entire Production Planning Products & Services a convergence/decommissioning plan of the related products.
· Foster innovation in the Production Planning Products & Services and ensure a pipeline of innovative features and technologies is maintained to feed roadmap evolutions.
· Participate actively in the IM & Business collective portfolio governance to ensure value-driven investments are prioritized at company level.
· Contribute to the portfolio management on his/her perimeter: manage allocation of business continuity and run budget envelopes to the PSL/Products and ensure respect of budget envelopes.
· Represent your function and promote its vision, value, services, and capabilities.
· Follow policies, standards and guidelines related to transverse governance are strictly applied in their perimeter.
Advanced Mechanical Design Engineer must haves:
· Have a degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or an equivalent combination of education and experience
· Have at least 5–10 years of experience in application development and support in the manufacturing environment
· Have at least 5-10 years of Project Management experience in the manufacturing environment
· Understand Company’s IM standards, project and services methodologies and procedures
· Know IT supplier landscape in North America is a plus
· Know the Industry area: Manufacturing, Assembly, Supply Chain,Procurement, Logistics & Quality
· Know the software solutions such as SAP (PP Module), SAP APO, EWM, shipping advice Solution, 3DVia, Catia, Enovia, Analytics solutions (Palantir, Qlik Sense, Skywise, etc.), Siemens, Dassault Delmia, etc.
· Experience in working with multicultural teams
· Are able to adapt in a changing environment
· Are able to work closely and effectively with all levels of business and IM management
· Recognize, and focus department on, high priority objectives
· Is accountable for results
· Inspires trust, demonstrates flexibility, encourages frequent open communications and welcomes feedback
· Have strong communication (oral and written), interpersonal, and facilitation skills
· Are fluent in English (mandatory), French highly recommended and due to Company’s European roots, German or Spanish language skills are a plus
· Can travel 10% both Domestic & International
