We are currently looking for a Screen Print Finishing Carousel Operator in HDPE Finishing Department for one of our clients in Orangeville, ON. Our client is a global plastics manufacturer, is experiencing a growth in sales and demand in many areas of its business
Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain printing equipment to produce high-quality prints
- Set up and adjust printing machines according to job specifications
- Monitor print quality and make adjustments as needed
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with the printing equipment
- Ensure proper handling, packaging, and labeling of printed materials
- Maintain inventory of printing supplies and material Screen Print Finishing Carousel Operator
Job duties :
Setting up, operating, troubleshooting of multiple machines, preparing automated press and screens for custom
job orders. Adjusts and cleans machines. Documents work performed as required.
Requirements:
Must have previous screen-printing experience on an automated or manual press
Able to Lift Up to 25 lbs frequently
Able to understand and follow verbal and written instructions with minimal supervision
Able to multitask
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
Basic math, counting skills necessary
Experience using measuring equipment - tape measures, micrometer, calipers, gauges
Forklift experience is considered an asset
Ability to follow recipes for color/ink batch preparation
Positive attitude and desire to be a team player
Shifts: 12 hr continental day shift only
Permanent, Full Time Position
84 hrs. biweekly with opportunity for OTs
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
