SalaryWe are currently seeking a Scrum Master for a contract position with our client in the financial sector. This role is central to a Salesforce and Vlocity project in one of their key departments, offering a chance to significantly contribute within a dynamic and evolving environment.
Location: Montreal or Toronto, Canada. This is a hybrid role with a requirement of 2 days per week in the office.
Contract Duration: 6 months, with the possibility of renewal.
Hours: 35 hours per week.
Language Requirement: Proficiency in English is mandatory. Bilingualism in French and English is a significant asset.
Role Overview:
- Scrum Leadership: Facilitate agile ceremonies, ensure adherence to agile principles, and foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project goals, prioritize tasks, and maintain clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Team Support & Empowerment: Remove impediments for the Scrum Team, facilitate discussions, and promote continuous improvement. Provide mentorship in Agile methodologies and best practices.
- Quality Control & Delivery: Ensure delivery of high-quality solutions aligned with business requirements. Monitor project progress and proactively address risks.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a Scrum Master role, preferably within IT projects.
- Deep understanding and application of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary teams in dynamic settings.
- Strong communication skills and proficiency in conveying technical concepts.
- Proficient in JIRA & Confluence.
- Experience or familiarity with Salesforce and Vlocity platforms is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the Insurance sector.
- Familiarity with Identity and Access Management/Privileged Access Management.

- the individual’s skill sets, experience and training;

The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
